-
A review of your medical history.

A quick body assessment (body composition, circumference measurements, and weight) to see "where you are" prior to beginning camp. We don't care what the measurements show -- it is strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information are strictly confidential.

An assessment of your posture to see if your back is healthy. We can modify exercises if your back, neck, or shoulders are sore or previously injured.
-
An official Adventure Boot Camp T-shirt!

Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!
What kind of people go to camp?
They are people just like you. Some of our participants just need a jump-start their fitness and wellness program. Some are tired of the same old routine and are looking for a new challenge and refreshing way to stay fit. Most of our campers have some history of exercise, but it's not required. We make the program just right for your ability level. Remember, ALL FITNESS LEVELS ARE ACCEPTED and ENCOURAGED!
How many people are in each camp?
This number usually varies from 15-30.
What is a typical day like at boot camp?
We do not have typical days - if you wanted the same routine day after day, then you would probably join a fitness center. But you can expect a mixture of cardio exercises, some running (less than a mile), light weight-training, mat work, jumping rope, and sports-related games. Each day is designed to be fun and different - and never boring.
How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's not uncommon to see as much as 3-8 pounds of weight loss after the first week. Remember, everyone is different!
What will I do after boot camp is over?
You will get re-measured and tested to show your progress and success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return for a second and even third camp. Post-evaluations take less than 10 minutes to complete. To schedule your post-evaluation, click here.
What if I sign up for the three-day plan and then want to do all 20 days of the camp?
This actually happens almost every time a person starts with three days per week. They have so much fun, they ask to do all the days. You will simply be prorated from the point you decide to join us for all the days.
Is there a refund policy?
We can only give you a credit towards another boot camp if you are unable to continue with the one you began (or if you miss 5 or more consecutive days) because of circumstance beyond your control (injury or major illness). This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund.
Do you know of other boot camps in the area?
There is a similar camp in southwest DC - www.dcbootcamp.com
